Security System: Our security systems are designed to incorporate the most user-friendly features available.  They arm and disarm with push-button easy and use plain-English messages instead of annoying buzzes or flashing lights. All houses are wired with 22 gauge 4 conductor alarm wire giving extra wire capability for future expansion. All accessible doors and opening windows are wired and tied to the security system on individual zones giving precise location description of faulted or activated zones. Our standard interior motion detectors are pet-friendly for pets up to forty pounds (allowing your pets to move freely about), yet they are still able to detect an intruder’s movement. Motion detectors are located at strategic places through- ought the house thus giving total perimeter and internal protection when the house is unoccupied. (Pet-friendly motion detectors are also available to allow for larger pets) The security system master control equipment incorporates the newest technology in both protection and false alarm prevention.  The system incorporates a complete stand-by battery system for electrical outages, a digital communicator for communication to our central monitoring station, and incorporates automatic diagnostic testing to alert you and our central station of any malfunctions, power outages, low batteries or trouble conditions. We incorporate both inside and outside sirens for notification of alarm activations. On houses with fire sprinklers, we monitor the water flow valve to alert you and our central station should water start to flow in order to get immediate help and determine if fire department assistance is required. We also install smoke detectors that are tied into the security system thus alerting you and our central station if smoke should be detected in the house. Telephone, Computer Data and Television Cabling: Telephone and computer data (Ethernet) cabling is all cabled with the highest grade cable, Category 5e communication cable. This high grade cable incorporates unique characteristics to eliminate interference, thus allowing high speed data and cross talk free communication. All telephone and Ethernet cables are homerun to a central distribution point allowing for easy installation of telephone systems and computer networking equipment.  By installing DSL or cable modem service for high-speed internet access, all computers in the house are able to access the internet at the same time and work on individual projects without affecting the other computers.  Also multiple computers can share information between themselves and print to a common printer thus reducing the need to have duplicate laser printers throughout the house.  All terminations, punch downs and patch panels are provided thus leaving the only thing to be purchased is the phone system and computer components themselves. All of our television cabling is accompanied with a Category 5e cable thus allowing for the connection of digital satellite equipment or DVR (digital video recorder, i.e. TIVO or Replay TV) at every outlet. All outlets are capable of receiving either cable TV signals from the local cable company or digital satellite signals, (with the purchase of additional satellite TV equipment), or both cable TV and digital satellite with the installation of a diplexer.  All TV outlets are home run and cabled with high-grade RG-6 coax cable.  Also multiple coax cables are run to the outside for connection of a high definition satellite dish and or off air antenna. Speaker Cabling: Selected rooms are cabled with high-grade audio speaker cabling for installation of a built-in speaker system. These rooms include cabling for either standard volume controls or a more sophisticated keypad control system.  All speaker cables are home-run to the audio system main distribution area.  The Family Room is cabled for a state-of-the-art Dolby Digital – DTS discrete audio video surround sound system.  The speaker cabling placement is centered on a location designed for a high definition plasma TV monitor.  The speaker cabling was designed to take advantage of the newest digital formats including Dolby Digital EX and DTS ES 6.1channel speaker systems.
